Touch Rugby with Garin College
At our school this term the year 5-6 have had a great time with the Garin students because Garin comes over to our school and teaches us touch rugby skills so we can improve. We have been put into teams and everyone is in a team. They have been teaching us skills like passing in a line, running up in a line, little games, getting back to five quickly when you have made your touch, when you have finshed you go for a cool down, run and pass before you get touched and lots more. We have had a great time so far.

ReplyDeleteThe Garin College students are doing a fantastic job of organising you into some really impressive skills exercises. Make the most of the last two sessions.
ReplyDeleteRemember we are looking for great skill and teamwork, which you wil need in the tournament.
I wonder if you could teach some of these drills to our buddy class. That would be fun and a nice change from reading!
