Regionals for Tackle Team
On wednesday 26 of october the Saint Pauls tackle team went to
Henley school to play tackle rugby and it was really wet and cold.
The teams that were also there were richmond,Brightwater,stoke,Taperwara,victory,Mot south,Takaka,Hampdon street and Saint Pauls. In our pool was Victory,Richmond,Taperwara,Stoke and Saint Pauls.
First we played Richmond and we lost 2-1.We then played Victory school and they won 4-1. Next we played Tapawara and we won 4-2 and it was our best game. Then the last pool match we played was against Stoke they bet us 5-2. Now we were into the bottom 4 semi-finals and we played Brightwater and we just lost 2-1. It was a close game and a tough one. We then had a break and it was time for our last game of the day because we couldn’t get into the final and it was against Richmond. This game was pretty much a fun game but we lost 5-3.
