I like this peice of art because i like the look of it and the colour of it also the shapes.

Inferno

Inferno is a pice of art That was made in 2007 they used Pencil and conté on paper it was made by sylvia siddell.We liked inferno because it had fish and it look like it was in a resturant and the fish are alive!By Zac and Alex.

Anya's favourite art

I like the artwork ‘another green world VII,’ by Elizabeth Turner.

It looks like it was a cushion, but was actually made of fibre-glass, acrylic and resin.

That is the same stuff that boats are made from.

cross country

On Wednesday, the 1st of June, we had our cross country race! Every one attended to the race and everyone loved it! And I must admit that the toilets were VERY popular! There were quite a few injuries :( but we still kept on keeping on!!!

Griffin and Jamie's paintball adventure

On sunday 27 of may Jamie, James, Ryan, Richard and Griffin went to Armageoden paintball. We went there for the day, it was for Jamie and James joint birthday.  For the starting teams it was Griffin Richard and Jordan with some others against Jamie James and Rhyn with some others. The first time you get shot it hurts really bad, but then you get used to it. James' mum made a cake. It had little cup cakes around it with splats that look like paintballs. There was a cake in the middle and there was a target with candles in them like arrows. We all got big bruises and marks. We used the MP5K! semi automatic which is a one shot burst/bruise. We played speed ball at the end of the day. You can see the speedball course in the background of the picture.

TERRY THE TUI GOES ON AN ADVENTURE

On t he first day of the holidays mum, dad, Catherine, Terry the Tui and  I jumped into the  car to go to the Nelson airport .  We were going to go to see my gran and poppa, who live in the Waikato.

 As soon as we got to the airport  I could see my poppa standing by the door to welcome us.  When we got to their house we just sat in front  of the T.V and fell asleep because we were very tired.

Then the next morning we all went to the Waitomo caves.  It took ages to drive there, but once we got there we had to line up for ages to get in.  Finally we got to go in the caves.

 We were not allowed to take photos in the cave because of the glowworms.  But the glowworms were  amazing!  We took a photo of Terry the Tui in front of a photo of the glowworms.  Then we went home to go to bed.  I had the most amazing time.

The tramp

In the holidays I went tramping up the luis tops with my dad we had to drive for an hour and 20 minutes it took us an hour to get to top when we were about half an hour up the track dad had to go toilet and I did to. When we got to the top it was really windy we put on our jakcits and then we found a spot.Dad took up   the billy and gas cooker some water,milo,milk powder and some musly bars and dad made some milo and we had musly bars and then we walked back down.  

 

We climbed to 1500mtrs and it was very cold on top but as you can see we found a place out of the wind to have a hot drink and some food.

Fraser was so pleased with himself to achieve this goal.

Terry's trip with Anya to the Sounds

In the second week of the holidays mum, dad, Sam, Tom, Terry the Tui and  I went down to our bach in Admiralty bay.  

On the day that we got down to the bach dad, Sam, Terry the Tui and  I went to the surfcasting on the surfcasting beach me and Terry made a teepee.

On the second day the weather was not good it was really windy so we played ping pong [table tennis] and darts and read our books.  On the third day the power was out so again  we played ping pong and darts.  

Then the power went off on and turned on again  so we watched t.v. 

Then about five minutes and then it turned off again.  So we just went to bed.  The next day, the power still was not on so we just

talked about things but that got boring so we got out a wasjig.

Then we went on our motorbikes.  The next night we went possum 

hunting  and got a possum.  Terry and I had a great week at my bach!!!

Dylan's fishing trip report

Over the holidays I went on a fishing trip for two days with my family first we drove to the dock. It took one hour to get to the dock, from our house then we got these awesome karts and there was a ramp going down to get to the boats. Then I got a awesome idea to push the kart down the ramp then after that we got on the boat and I was geilos of another boat because it was a three story boat and I saw a  TV,play station two,Xbox and Xbox360.And we found a very good spot to go fishing and as soon as our hooks and bate went in the water we started to get heaps and heaps of bites and soon we got over ten fish. After that we went to the batch. Then we had fish for dinner.
