Terry's first adventure

In the weekend my family took Terry to Picton. We stayed the night in my Aunties apartment. We had to get up very early to go to Ships cove. On the boat we met some people and they loved Terry and wanted to keep him. When we got to Ships Cove we took some photos of Terry, then we went on a four hour walk. The start of it was very steep and we were walking with the people we met on the boat. 

After a while we got Terry out and took more photos. We saw a Weka and put Terry next to it,then the Weka picked him up and ran away with him,Mum chased it and then he let him go and ran off. We kept walking and stopped somewhere for lunch and took some photos then we started again. 

When we finally got to the finish, [which is at Ferneaux lodge] we got an ice-block and went back on the boat. When we got back to Picton we took more photos and went back to the apartment.  We had a lot of fun and can’t wait to go back, and  I’m sure Terry can’t either.

Kotuku's new class pet Terry the Tui

This is Terry the Tui who is our class pet. As you can see he is perched up in a tree, soaking up the lovely Autumn sunshine. He is going to help us with some ICT and creative writing jobs.

Look out for  him on our blog and make some comments on our adventures.

Everyone really loves him and we are deciding a fair way of allowing him to go on weekend trips.

Mr Searles Mortorbike!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is me and Ajay's teachers motorbike. Our teacher is Mr Searle and this is his cool motorbike that he rides to school most days and some times Ajay greets him in the morning to get the keys for the classroom. Mr Searle likes riding his bike to school. He uses three compartments usally but some times he uses one compartment to store things like computers and equipment for the class some times.  We would like some times get to hop it but not ride on it when it is going.

AWESOME PANCAKES!!!!!!!!!!!

This is Nicola,Victoria and I making pancakes, because Nicola got to have a treat with two friends for doing great work.
They were yummy and we also got a milo we made some for the teachers and they replied "yummy".Mr Isles got two pancakes and a coffee. Mr searle was flipping the pancakes like pizza.  On the top there was chocolate chips and optional bananas and oranges plus maple syrup.
